Linda's Story
Life
After graduating from Cody in 1974, I attended the Univ. of Michigan and graduated in 1977 with a B.A. in journalism and education. In 1981,I earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Wayne State Univ. I taught school for a minute in the English Department at Cass Tech High School before joining the staff at Ross Business Institute in Dearborn. tside of Wisconsin/90 miles west of Chicago.) In Rockford, I worked as a television talk show host and television producer as well as entertainment editor for a small publication before making my way back to Detroit. For 20 years I have worked in the Sales Department at the Michigan Chronicle Newspaper.
I am the mother of a 16 year old daughter who aspires to win the gold medal in the 200? Olympics.
She is currently regional and county champ in the 100 meter dash.
