Linda's Story

Life I was married for 18 years to a Marine Officer and travelled all over the world including Okinawa for 4 years. Divorced, and moved back to New York where I married David Vanvelsor in 1986. We have been living in Glen Cove since then and have one son. I had 5 children, and i have 6 grandchildren now. last spring since my Mom died have moved back into my home in Baldwin.I totally needed a time to sell my parents ...Expand for more
house in baldwin. completed that nightmare and then in Jan 2013 Dave went to VA hospital complaining of headaches and wound out with terminal lung cancer and brain cancer from Agent Orange exposure from Vietnam. I hospiced him at home until he died on April 20, 2013. Now i am trying to regroup and decide what i want to do with the rest of my life. update: retired sept 2014 and moved to the mountains of south carolina
