Linda's Story
Had an adventure filled life since graduation. Went to Kaiser Foundation School of Nursing right after graduation. My father was pretty ill that year I was gone. Returned to my parents home in Rancho Cordova. Went onto work at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento in the OB-GYN clinic while attending ARC. Married and had two children during the 70's.
Have worked in sales most of my life in various fields; insurance [all types], flooring, and now in wine. Life is great. My daughters are grown, I have a grandson who is 25 and getting married this August in Michigan. David has a daughter in her 40's that is a great addition to our life.
Have been married for nearly 20 years to David Denton a fabulous balance in my life. We met while I was selling flooring, we have worked together for years. We spent 5 years+ assist...Expand for more
ing on the family ranch in El Dorado, while both working in Sacramento and the eventually in Lodi. We have bought and sold a few houses, made nice money doing so even if by accident. We now live in the first house we bought 20 years ago in Folsom, how funny that the circle has come around.
David is always concerned that my 'Military Brat" background will find away to uproot our house again but this time I think we are here......at least so long as my Mom is still around. She is now 89 and still living in her home in Rancho Cordova - amazing they moved there between my Jr and Sr year of high school. My Sister and two brothers are still in the area and we have a fabulous family. Hope to connect this summer with friends ~ imagine 50 years ago we were just kids heading out into the world.
