Linda's Story
Wow... I am pretty sure nobody will want to hear the crap I have been through - So i will just give you the short version - after I graduated I met a guy - in a band and we lived together for 8 yrs (I suffered through a lot of abuse with this guy), and finally left him in 1994. Then I met the man I married Mike King and we moved to Florida for several years - when we came back to CT that marriage fell apart. I am still friends with him, but not together... I have no children.
I am a recovering addict - who did some time in prison, but I am doing okay now. I have nothing to complain about - life is fairly good... It certainly could be worse.
I have published a few books... poetry and short stories. The poetry is based on life, and reality... the short stories are fictional about things that go bump in the night. I was in the 2006 Who's Who Directory for Women ...Expand for more

I live in New Milford CT now with my dad and mom - I am primary care-giver to my 75 yr old mom. I am looking to reconnect with old friends - and hopefully getting into some new hobbies... I am avid camper, hiker, gardener. I enjoy rock/roll, country music, amusement parks and I still love to roller skate.
One person I would like to see again is Connie Hammer, because we had so much fun that day when skipped school and hung out by Immaculate... those were the good ole days!.
My first job was at Waldbaums Grocery, where I got paid 4.25 to work in the bakery. What I remember most about it is how they made the brownies... they would save the old donuts for several days - just sitting in plastic garbage bags, then mix those up - (FLIES and all), in the mix... until I worked there - I used to eat the brownies... now I wouldn't touch them. .
