Life
Hello, and welcome to Linda Cicconi's biography. I am a RN, BSN, CNOR, working as an OR Nurse at the Veterans Hospital in Oakland, Pittsburgh. I began my nursing career after working as a desk clerk in ICU that required aide duties. Realizing my love for nursing, I became a LPN, and then worked nights while attending CCAC to become a RN. I worked for Divine Providence Hospital for 29 years until they were bought by Mercy Hospital. I obtained employment at the VA five years ago when I feared my hospital would close. a scholarship for the RN to BSN program. I started taking Internet courses the summer of 2002 at Slippery Rock University. I graduated with a BSN May 7, 2005.
My husband works as a recruiter for Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. We just celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary in April. Our children are 2002 and 2004 Avonworth graduates. Our 20-year-old daughter is a sophomore at Allegheny College majoring in Chemistry and our 22-year-old son is a senior at SRU majoring in Physics. I am attaching our most recent family picture.
