Life after graduation from Hillsdale High School in 1960, I went to UCSB for two years and on to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for another two years where I graduated with a BS in Home Economics and a Secondary Teaching Credential. I married in my senior year to an Architectural Engineer who also graduated from Cal Poly. We were married for 23 years and had three sons. I was a stay-at-home Mom until my youngest entered school. At that time, I began my teaching career, teaching first in a Christian School in Concord, CA. I taught Biology, Algebra, Computers, and Sewing. After 12 years, I moved to Mt.
