Linda's Story
I married a year out of high school. Jack was in the Navy, a radar operator on the P3 Orion Aircraft. We spent some time in Washington state and Barber's Pt., Hawaii. After his discharge from the service, we moved to a small ranchette in Oakdale, where Istill live today. I have 3 kids and 6 grandkids. time but we all survived with the help of family and friends. I remarried and lost my other Jack in 2004. Think I'll stay single now!
I work full time at a bakery/deli in Modesto and, for the most part, I love my job. The holidays can be a nightmare as we do around 1000 pies for Thanksgiving! Maybe some of you may stop by The Lunch Pail sometime--make sure you ask for me to say "hi".
