I am married to my second husband, Dennis, who proposed after 1 week of dating. We married three months later and have 4 kids between us and they had a bunch more, and so on. All total, we have 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Gee, that makes me seem old . . . but that would be furthest from the truth. I will be forever young at heart at least. Always active in sports, yet wanting to be closer to my grandkids, I finally quit a lifelong participation in softball after managing, coaching and playing in coed and women’s leagues. Forever a sports lover, I am still a big Padres and Aztec fan. I worked for several years with the Padres Fantasy Camps and my picture was featured on the front of the UT Sports page after the Chargers won the division championship in 1994. I regrettably left the Chargers when they left us, and I was a FANatic! In fact A lifelong adventure seeker, I have driven racecars and dune buggies, flown in a biplane, sea plane, glider, and helicopter, ridden parasails, zip lines and hot air balloons, jumped from a perfectly good airplane and am always the first to volunteer for a new experience.
