Linda's Story
I moved to Front Royal, Va. after graduation. Met my husband and started having babies! I have 1 daughter, 2 sons, and 1 step daughter that I consider my own, I've always hated the word step. As of 2008 I have 7 grandchildren and without a doubt, thats my most favorite thing about my life! As of this August, I will have my first great-grandchild, we don't know that its a boy or a girl yet. The five girls and 2 boys have kept me quite busy for the past 19 years and I really can't imagine my life any other way than being the best grandma I can be. I guess to some this seems quite boring, but my husband Winfred and I had a wonderful life in Stephens City,Va, until 4 years ago. We had a lovely home, 2 beautiful pekes (Mulan and Skeeter) as our babies, and a large yard for the flowers and all those grandkids. In 2008 Winfred was told he had cancer and from that time on things continued to go downhill. He battled it for 8 years so bravely. As time progress...Expand for more
ed, we gradually lost everything including his health. I lost Winfred July 30, 2008. Although I am so thankful for the love and time we had together, I continue to miss Winfred and feel so cheated. I am going to try to make the reunion, and may bring one of the grandkids with me. I promise not to be a wet blanket if I do. I just wanted to let everyone one know what I have been up to for these past years. I'v probably been one of happiest women on earth! I am really looking forward to seeing some old friends.
