Linda's Story
It is funny but I don't consider myself a graduating member of the class of 1970, even though I did get my diploma later on.
I left to get married in December of 1969 and left school to travel to Germany with my then husband. Since then I spent my life taking care of my two children, and then taking care of my parents. Finally made it to college after I lost both of my parents.
Back in the late 1990's I decided to do something with all the thoughts in my head and started sketching and writing poetry. Now I am taking all of those sketches and poetry and making a book out of them. I haven't...Expand for more
decided yet but I might add a few stories in it about what brought out certain sketches or poems at those particular times.
I have agoraphobia and so have never come to one of the Reunions because of that. Not that I haven't wanted to because I want so much to see some of the faces I remember that followed me all the way from junior high to when I left high school. As we get older and I work to able myself to do just that, I hope I am not too late getting there.
I hope everyone that remembers me in kind has had a wonderful, fulfilled life and that it has brought much joy to their hearts.
