Linda Russell:  

School Since graduating from High School, I have married Roger Russell (1956 graduate). I did not start college until our second daughter was born in 1962. It took me 11 years, going to night school, to finally graduate in 1974 from Ohio Universtity with a degree in Education. During that time, we had our third daughter. In 1968, I started teaching in the Maysville School District where I taught for the next 27 years in the elementary school. Roger was director of the Avondale Children's Home from 1970-1974 so we juggled running the home, teaching school and taking care of our family at the same time. He was teaching at the high school during this period of time, also. We both retired in 1995. Since then we have found ourselves roaming around the country and have taken several cruises. We sold our home in Broadvue Acres, Zanesville and have bought three manufactured homes! We spend the summer on the St. Lawrence River in Cape Vincent, NY. Spring and Fall finds us in Zanesville.
