Linda's Story
Hi Class of 63. Well, it's been a long time since our big graduation.Sorry I've not been able to get back home to see all the clasmates. Right after graduation, I joined the army, spent 3 years active duty, then married a career military man. We had two daughters and now 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. My youngest also joined the army and has since gotten out, and married a military man who is planning on making the Army his career. My oldest is married and lives here in AL. My husband retired from the Army in 1972 and we moved back to Hammondsport for ...Expand for more
a few years, but then due to his health problems, we moved back to AL to be near a military base with hospital. He passed away in 2000. I still live here in AL, near my oldest daughter, and am retired, so enjoying the lazy life. I get back home occasionaly for short visits, but sorry to say, usually for sickness and funerals. Life has been good to me, I'm healthy, still fat and sassy, and married a wonderful man in April 2012 who has been so very special in my life for the past 7 years. Hoping we will get to come back home for the 50th class reunion in Aug 2013.
