Linda's Story
Life
Yikes, what to write. I went to Whitman College, in Walla Walla Washington right after graduation but quit after a year and a half. I worked for a little while and then spent a year in Norway doing something called Scandinavian Seminar. I went to a small "folkehoyskulle" and traveled a little. When I came home I became a hippie (yes, me!). I traveled around for a while and then lived "on the land" in Idaho for several years. . I went back to school at SOU in Ashland and then got a masters in social work through CSU Sacramento. I worked for a number of years in residential treatment for adolescents but for the last 15 years have been doing private practice (psychotherapy and counseling) work. I've never been married but have one son, who is 29 years old and doing well, thank goodness! I live with my sweetie Brad, in Talent, Oregon and one of my passions is designing and creating applique quilts as well as doing machine embroidery.
