Linda's Story
Life
I now live in Memphis, having moved here in 1997 from northern Ohio. I was up there for 16 years, most of it in the Cleveland area. Two of my three kids are still in that part of the country, so I get up there several times a year to see them and my grandbabies.
I didn't work while I raised my kids, then went back to school for a Master's. I retired from full-time permanent work in 2004, but had done survey-research work for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and then was a data analyst with a small non-profit for about 5 years here in Memphis.

remarried in 1999 to an absolutely wonderful man. I thank the Good Lord everyday for Gary. Between us we have 5 children and 13 grandchildren. All four of our parents are still living and not in good health, so just keeping up with all the relations is a full time job. Gary's son is the only one who lives in the Memphis area, so we travel a fair amount to see the rest. My oldest is in New Zealand, and I've been there to visit him and his family twice since they moved there in 2003.
