Linda's Story
I married young and was a very young mother. I have one daughter and am a widow (at age 20).
I went back to school when my daughter was three years old and have been a RN for over 42 years.
I currently work in hospice care and have been here for the past 17 years. As strange as it sounds, it is a wonderful career. We help so many people every day and make their last journey one of outstanding quality. I will probably retire from this job. ( I did retire from this job after 20 years.)
I have been a lifelong student and love adult learning opportunities. I have a masters in Health and Human Service Administration.
I live outside of the...Expand for more
Twin Cities seven county metro area and love the "country environment". We have a lot of wildlife in our backyard and cats in the house. They provide a lot of company and a lot of laughs.
I also have a lake cottage for week-end and vacation visits. Life is good!
I look forward to hearing from classmates and sharing our stories.
My daughter. Family. My pets. Good friends , Beautiful home which exudes warmth and welcome to those who visit.
My biggest surprise is that I am a career woman, I should say was as I retired in 2015.
I am a parent and I have learned too many things from my daughter to list here. She is much smarter than I am!
