Linda's Story

Lived 17 years in California (Bay Area and Santa Cruz) after earning my MFA in Sculpture. Taught Sculpture and Women's Studies for the University of California Santa Cruz 7 years. Returned to Roanoke in 1988 with my beautiful daughter Lucy, who lives in Richmond. Still professional sculptor, currently working on a commission for Temple Emanuel. Art at Virginia Western for last 8 years -distance learning course. Was gallery director and curator at Roanoke College for 14 years, also teaching college courses here and there as Guest Artist (Hollins, Roanoke, Radford). Training for a sprint triathlon at White Lake, NC in September (Dash for Divas). Live in Fincastle with lots of critters and my husband Jim. Come visit me on facebook!
