Hi To All!
Ken and I will be married 35 years October 6, 2009. Our 34 yr old daughter, Deena, is married and has a 20 year old step-daughter that she & her husband have raised since she was 4 yrs old. Our son, Ken Jr., blessed us with our 9-1/2 yr old grandson, Ken III and our almost 8 yr old granddaughter, Cheyenne, who is my "Partner in Crime". "What happens at grandma's stays at grandma's'. Ken III is in his 3rd year of wrestling - He's already planning on a wrestling scholarshop for college. My husband retired in 2001 and I continued working as a Personal Lines Insurance Producer/CSR until the end of July 2006, at which time I was diagnosed with Lymphoma and have been fighting it ever since. November 9th a Stem Cell Transplant Benefit Fund Raiser was held in my honor at the Royal Bear in Algona. With the love, support and hard work from family, friends, and Boneyard, Gun Shy Band and the Protektors, the Bands donating their time to play, the benefit was very succussful. A total of $21,000 was donated to the cause. [Thank You Mike C!}.
If all goes well, I should be able to come back home from the SCCA the first part of August. I have no idea if I'll be able to make it to the reunion, as recovery is one to two years and I just don't know what my cabapilities will be at that time.
