Linda's Story

After I graduated from Waltrip. in '72. I was awarded a scholarship from Texas A&M,Department of Public Safety,HISD sponsors. I was certified to Teach Driver Education for the Houston Independent School District to high school students from 1975 through 1979. In my years of teaching high school students.I enjoyed every bit of it ...! Sadly , Driver Education was pulled out of the Curricul...Expand for more
um due to shortage of revenue in the District. In my opinion ....Driver Education SHOULD BE part of the Curriculum in all high schools....all future DRIVERS using the freeways and Interstates should be TAUGHT THE LAWS AND DANGERS OF DRUNK DRIVING.....! I THINK OUR GOVERNMENT AND STATES.....SHOULD MAKE IT A PRIORITY TO EDUCATE OUR HIGH SCHOOL KIDS TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE AND STUDY THE LAWS OF DRIVING.
