Linda's Story
Lots has happens since 1978. I thought high school was challenging but l soon found out that real life after highschool is not all a bed of roses. Like some of you l choose to get married and stay home, to my surprise l kept having boys, and that was fine but after 6 boys l figured l was done. 4 years later l ended up having a girl, and then that was the icing on the cake. I was defiantly done. It was very rewarding and difficult as many of you can imagine, but Rick and l raised them with knowing right from wrong. nce to start Start getting to know each other again. Lol. It was a couple of months later that my Rick was dio gnoses with stage 4 cancer. We were on the worst rollercoaster ride for the next 2years and he passed away on July 13th. Our Sweet Daughter put her education off and showed up at our door when Rick couldn’t drive himself to the Cancer Treatments any more . I was unable to drive by then because of neck problems. That was the hardest thing l have ever gone through and l was so grateful that my Daughter was with me at that time. Life does go on and l visit all my children in different states and my 18 soon to be 20 Grandchildren. My Daughter will some day find a wonderful companion but now she is busy being a first responder as a nurse in a Hospital. My family means everything to me and as l continue to trust in God l will be fine. I know there is always rainbows after the storms of life.
