Linda's Story
Life
10-9-08: I became a born again Christian in 1978. Jesus has been my strength through some tough life challenges, including breast cancer in 2002 ( I'm doing great...just passed the 5 yr. mark in Sept.!) I've been happily "single again" since 1991. I fulfilled my life long dream of going to Israel/Holy Land, Rome in 2006. Being in Israel was life changing. I like hanging out with my friends, day trips, theater, concerts, 60's and Country-Western music. My kiddos are all grown up. Amy is 32, teaches 5th grade and has been married since 2004. le. I worked awhile at The Meadows, an inpatient facility for adults with addictions and victims of trauma (PTSD). I REALLY liked that, but I was commuting to Wickenburg, which felt like all I did was drive, work and sleep. I've been with AZ. Dept of Juvenile Corrections for 4.5 years working as a correctional health nurse with adolescent boys. Life is good, and I feel very content. I have no plans to retire any time soon; as long as I can keep one foot in front of the other. Hope all is well with my classmates. Let me know if you ever get to Phoenix. Linda Rees
