Linda's Story
I am an LPN currently working on a LVN certification. My husband of 23 years and I have 5 children. Ages 20, 19, 17, 13 ánd 12. Three of which are studying at local universities while living at home. Two are attending the private school where I work as an administrator.
This school has preschool through 12th grade. My three older children graduated at the same school. My oldest child graduated university with a psychology degree in public relations at this private school. My second child works as a school adm. assistant at another school while studying history and geo-physics. My third child is now studying civil engineering.
Working at this school has brought back so many long forgotten memories of elementary school teachers. Not a day goes by something wil...Expand for more
l happen and I will remember Mrs. Graham, Mrs. Jenkins. Mrs. Williams. Mrs. Doughty ,Mrs. Ottipoti, Miss Jackson, Mrs, Schrader, Mrs, Arendt, Mrs Nauman ,and Mr. Witcher.
Even when on our school playground I remember Mrs. Jenkins in her sweater and skirt suits that matched so perfectly. She and the other teachers in their inch high heels ,wearing pearls around their necks and in their ears standing holding their planners and purses. Mrs. Ottipoti with her umbrella.
When our school hires new teachers my Woodrow Wilson Elementary school teachers are the ones I hold as a standard. Because of my teachers I believe part of being a good teacher includes: being confident, knowledgeable, neat , tidy, and smell good, too! I would love to hear any update on these teachers.
