Linda's Story

Life Hello to anyone reading this and I hope it encourages others to tell us what's been happening to them. Marriage has not been one of my successes. I've been married and divorced twice, but thank goodness, I don't think I turned into a bitter old lady. There were some very good times in both marriages, but I don't think I'll try that again. I have three sons aged 40, 37, and 33; three grandsons aged 16, 13, and 7; two granddaughters aged 17 and 14; and, am looking forward to great grandchildren in a few years. I have a little house right outside of Fredericksburg, Virginia. I worked as a printing press operator at Quantico Marine Corps Base for ten years, then started all over at IRS in DC in 1991 as a clerk typist. ernment gives you when they don't know what to call you) and I retired June 3, 2007. I didn't work with taxes - I conducted physical security reviews of other Federal and State agencies using our "confidential" tax information. I used to do a lot of camping and hiking. I actually hiked Old Rag Mountain a long time ago. But, I've got old and fat and not sure I'd survive that hike now, but would probably try. I love to fish and have two grandsons that love to go with me. Life has had some ups and downs. I guess, like everyone else, there've been times that I was knocked down and kicked a few times, but I got pretty good at jumping up and trying again. Looking back, there's been a lot of good times to mix in with the bad. Ok people, now it's your turn. Let us know what happened with you!!!

Ok, this is a new one for me. I've been walking in Virginia woods for over 50 years, but this is the first time I've seen this flower. I've been told it's called a Passion Flower. Does anyone else have any information??
