Linda's Story
Life
Wow, high school. Except for the lingering feelings of having been too tall, awkward, and from another planet, I hardly remember anything about that time. Hmm, 'Cookies for Kennedy' stands out, as well as some exchange student(who stayed with Gordie Bryant) that thought we should all over-throw the school administration over something he thought was a big deal and I didn't even understand. Safe-to-say, I guess I don't miss it much. Since then I have been married to and divorced from Jack Shackleton (people do raise an eyebrow when I say I married my English teacher) who is still a great friend and is retired and living in HMB. I have three daughters (Monica, Merilee and Melissa) who are busy with their families and lives, but...Expand for more
live close and keep in touch. My own personal path has touched some incredible lows and outstanding highs. Currently, I am actually quite happy and content. I am a manager in a technology area, live in a cool house in Danville, and have a
relationship with a man that I am totally in love with after being together for over 12 years. I still read a lot and actually take
preserving photos and family stories for my grandchildren seriously. Oh, opps,I forgot ... I have eight grandchildren, two of them live with David and me along with their mother, Melissa. We have an extended family household that actually works and is great fun. I feel blessed, content, happy, and grateful. I hope all of you can say the same. Warm Regards. Linda
