Linda Hendricks's Story
Most of the of MHHS alumni will NOT remember me. Having moved to MH from CA, I only attended MHHS for about 2 1/2 yrs, 10th, 11th, and most of my senior year.
I was not beautiful, not popular, not on the honor roll, not a leader, in any way shape or form, not the class clown nor a troublemaker, I didn't exactly stand out. I was just a nice, sweet girl, in fact, that's what most people wrote in my year book. I still am a nice, sweet girl, just a little older, a bit fatter, and a lot smarter, finally : ) What can I say, I'm a late bloomer.
Most of my "spare" time at school was spent outside in the smoking area, (I've since quit) with Mary Sisney, Jackie Giboney, Lisa Bryant and Barbara Wooldridge, just to name a few. I was skinny, flat chested, had blond stringy hair, and in my senior year I drove a sweet, tan & white, 63 Chevy Impala hardtop, (damn I wish I still had that car!!)
During high school I worked at Morgan's/Loveall's Pharmacy as a soda jerk/clerk.
About half way through my senior year, I became pregnant, quit school, go...Expand for more
t married and went to work at Baxter Lab. for awhile. Soon after the birth of my beautiful daughter, I divorced her father and moved back to CA.
I then moved to TN, re-married, gave birth to another beautiful daughter, divorced again and moved back to CA.
I met my Prince Albert in 1983, we've been married almost 26 yrs, (he's a CA dude), and we have two heavy metal sons.
In case you lost count, I have a total of 4 adult children, the girls are married and the boys have yet to cut the umbilical cord, still living at home. My oldest daughter, Leah, has graced us with 4 beautiful grandchildren, 2 boys & 2 girls and is currently cooking up Mambo #5, it's a boy. I'm seriously going to nickname him Mambo. My #2 daughter, Tina, has been blessed with 2 beautiful children, (one of each)
I finally achieved my high school diploma in 1988 via an adult ed. program. I have been working for Wal-Mart in Ceres, CA as a pharmacy technician. My husband is a supervisor for Modesto City Transit System.
I also can be reached on Myspace and facebook.
