Linda's Story

Married Carnell (Corky) Avery in September 1965. Had two children. Billy and Ruthie named after my mom and dad. Lived over 28 years in So Calif. Got my degree when both my kids were in elementary school. Worked several years for an accounting firm in San Bernardino,and risk management at Loma Linda Univ Med Ctr. Quit working in 2000 to take care of my husband who was diagnosed with Parkinson Dis...Expand for more
ease. He passed away in 2017. Moved to Tennessee to be closer to my kids and grandkids.. It is so beautiful here at the base of the Smokey Mountains. I so enjoyed my years at Kofa High. Miss everyone and the wonderful friendships made there. We all were so blessed.! I will finish out my years left here in Tennessee but do plan to visit Yuma at least one more time! Hope to see some of you then.
