Linda's Story
December 17, 2006, I graduated from OSU with my PhD which was a very challenging, but rewarding, endeavor. I am currently teaching computer technology classes at a university near Tulsa. My two sons are grown, and I have three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Last January my colleague, Judy, and I presented at a conference in Hawaii where the high was 89 degrees and the low was 77. It was my second visit there, and I absolutely love it. We took a surfing clas...Expand for more
s and had a blast. I was able to get up my very first time. We went to a luau on the beach, went to Chinatown and ate an authentic Vietnamese restaurant where hardly anyone spoke English. Although we are both scuba-certified, we did not go scuba diving but wish that we had instead of going whale watching. We only saw the tail of one whale and then its back which was not too exciting.
In February I am going with some friends to Dubai which is a trip of a lifetime.
