Linda's Story
My life, bittersweet and blessed.
Life by Design, the Mystery
The beginning, the path, a course laid
How does it twist, turn, become what it has been?
The path of ones past, there behind on the ground,
trodden by many, lead to what the future holds
By design? By choice?
As each life is played and affects others,
how then, can we claim our path our own?
My path, so intertwined with so many
Where do my steps begin, theirs end?
My children, my heart,
their steps, mine, as one, as many
the same; and not
Their steps, walked across my heart
Their life, so much a part of mine
to take flight, to become their own
The one
took flight before her time,
to leave my steps broken, and her path so empty
Yet the path I could see was not where she trod
For hers was by a Greater Design...
to go where the angels play
Leaving my steps to linger in the before,
to walk the path of broken dreams,
to capture what was not,
and could never be
If I but look behind, to see the remains
of the hopes and dreams I once held,
I miss the light, the beauty
of her path, by Another's Design
And in my look behind, I would miss the steps
taken by my side
The on...Expand for more
es walking the path of this time
the beauty of their lives, steps taken, their own
Though they lead away from the path I would have
to theirs, a way not mine
Their steps, as they walk across my heart
a life so much a part of mine
To take flight, to become
their path yet to be
By a Greater Design
Their steps and mine, as one, as many
the same, and not

I have enjoyed looking at the different profiles on here. I had to get my year book out because some of you have gotten older. :) When I see a picture of myself I wonder who that woman is with the white hair.
My life has been an interesting journey so far. I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my children until my youngest was in her early teens.
I am the Director of Client Services for a non-profit agency. We train adults and children with developmental disabilities. I love my job!
I am still shy. It is interesting to travel back in my mind to the 60's.
How did we live with no microwaves, cell phones or computers? I enjoy being on my PC and enjoy all the fun ways to stay in touch with family and friends.
If you have read this far, please say hi.
