Linda's Story
Life
I've been married 28 years. I met my husband, Jeff, while attending college at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO. He was a sophomore transfer when I was a junior. The interesting thing was that he was paired with a roommate, Mark Hodges, from St. Louis who graduated with me from Cleveland High School (small world) Mark, actually, was in our wedding.
We were married on May 23, 1979 at Third Baptist Church in St. Louis. We lived in Kansas City for several years while Jeff completed his MRE at Midwestern Seminary. While in seminary we were on staff at St. Luke Presbyterian Church (for anyone familiar this is the "JOY" church on NE Vivian Rd in Kansas City North/Gladstone area)
Jeff and I now live in Louisville, KY -- we moved here in 1985 after spending 3 years on the church staff of First Baptist Church of Kennett, MO. (AKA swamp-east Missouri)

wn children -- Brian, 27 who lives in Charleston, SC and Jason, 23 who lives in Louisville. Jason was just married on June 23.
We are actively involved at Walnut Street Baptist Church where we current volunteer in the college ministry where we are pleased to do the work God has laid out for us to do at this time in our lives. I am the church's kitchen hostess -- which means I assist our caterer with meals and regularly prepare meals for various groups in the church. My husband is with Humana, in IT Learning Services.
I was a legal administrative assistant in Louisville for 12 years(1985-1997). I left to manage our contract computer instructor business for about 6-7 years. Then spent almost 2 years at Spalding University as an admin. assist. before going on staff at Walnut Street.
