Linda's Story
Life: Reside in No. Cal.; Single, a son, a daughter, 9 grandchildren (ages 4-29)
Interests: Spending time with family and friends; hiking/walking, dancing and of course shopping. Love to travel and go wine tasting.
School: My biggest crush in our class was Bruce Hale. My first love was Robby Adler (3 yrs. older). No particular teacher inspired me most. If I knew what I know now I would definitely do it all over again only make wiser choices. Memorable event was going to the Pike with friends, running out of gas and getting picked up by the Long Beach Police for siphoning gas. the story was that my sisters had been prank calling people and when the police called to contact my parents, my sisters thought they were busted.
Workplace: Retired after a long career as a Patent:Trademark Litigation Secretary and Sr. Executive Assistant to the Sr. VP, General Counsel and Corp. Secretary of Applied Materials.
Military: Was not personally in the military, but my ex-husband was drafted 5 mos. after we married and served 2 yrs in the Army. I lived in San Antonio Texas for three months prior to his orders to go to Viet Nam (1969 - 1971). Lived in with relatives in Tennessee for a year. Moved back and worked as Acct Clerk II. When husband returned, moved back to Bellflower until 1979 at then moved to No Cal.
