Linda's Story

Life Retired from NYS Dept. of Correctional Services. Have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. My wonderful husband of 40 years passed away in May of 2004. Live in the Marilla/Alden area, New York . I have three quarter horse mares and one 1/2 hackney pony. We show locally and at NRHA sanctioned shows. Very involved with the Hilltop Riders 4 H group and look forward to the 4 H shows in New York State this spring and summer. My granddaughter Emily shows my reining mare Chex N Ruby and my youngest daughter Becky shows my western pleasure mare One Sweet Leaguer. ve our own horse farm. My other pet is my German Shorthair Pointer puppy named Dutch Chocolate. Often think of the good old days of Kensington, going to DuBarry's after school, working at Grants on Bailey Avenue. Would love to hear from the folks in my class at Kensington or 78 school. Bought a new truck to pull our horse trailer and am ready to start riding again. Possibly going to Huntley, Wyoming (Ranch 74) to purchase another horse. Linda on Bobbi and Tom Thompson on White Cloud. 4th Place in the pair class at the JHA horse show held at Dolly Ratazjack's farm on Michael and Union. 1956 if memory is correct.
