Linda's Story

Life I live in Corning California in the state I never thought I would live. Most of my siblings live in Washington or Oregon. I have one son, Scott age 22 and one grandson, Sage. I have one dog, a partial pit bull who is the sweetest animal. "Sheba" is a godsend. My son snuck her home 5 years ago in his coat in violation of the no more pets rule. She is around 90 pounds of pure muscle. She surprised the individual who tried to break in one night. I doubt they will forget her any time soon. And one cat who follows me everywhere. She is an adoption from a pet rescue who they told me would never top 4 pounds. At the time I got "Tinkerbell" she was approximately 7 months old and weighed in a little over 2 pounds. She is approximately 10 pounds. Apparently, quality cat food (IAMS) was all she needed. There is some truth to the name brand being better at least where pet food is concerned. Finally, Life is good. a "military brat" so I went to three different High School including only one year, my Senior year, in Bath North Carolina. I spent almost three years in Wahkiakum High School in Cathlamet WA. There are a few individuals from school that I would love to reconnect with. To those of you in NC who made me feel welcome, thanks. It wasn't easy moving to a new school my Senior year. Many of you are very fondly remembered. Military I completed Basic Training in early November 1980. It was tough but wonderful at the same time. I have a few really great friends there that I think of often. Mary and Linda, where are you??? I hope you are well. I spent a few months at Wichitau Falls, TX for Tech school where I got conned into becoming a student leader. It was fun although November and December is quite cold there. I was stationed at McCord AFB in Tacoma, WA. Carol, Poohnee, Kerry and Bev, I think of you often. I wish I knew how to find you guys. Boy did we have some fun. MISS YOU ALL.
