Linda's Story
Joe and I have been married 42 years, we met at VA Tech. We lived in Radford Va for 34 years where he was faculty member at Radford University. I was a stay at home mother to our 3 children, but also worked at RU for 16 years with student teachers, We are retired and live on Mobjack Bay,, a part of the Chesapeake Bay, in Mathews Co, Va.
We have 2 daughters, Emily, Katie and one son Christopher. Our oldest daughter; Emily
passed away of colon cancer at 35, five years ago,. Our daughter Katie is the Associate Executive Medical Director of Telehealth...Expand for more
at MUSC in Charleston SC. She is also the mother of our only grandchild, 4 yr old Eva. Our son, Christopher is a monitor mixer / engineer for a live sound show production company
We are enjoying retirement and living on the water!
I have not been back to the area except for business in quite some time, my parents took early retirement from Fairfax Co schools and left the area 35 years ago; They both passed away soon after our daughter.Since the past reunions were times that I was very involved with children and family. I am looking forward to this 50th!
