Linda's Story
Been a long time since the 10 yr reunion! I turned into a pumpkin too early on that hot day with too many cocktails and not enough hors'douvres. I'm a rolling stone, left washington for California for about 4-5 yrs in 1975ish? Got married there and went to Iran with Bell Helicopter (7 months) then all hell broke loose there. Came back to Lakewood WA, then Yelm, then to Enumclaw. Divorced. Stayed in Enumclaw for about 5 years, got into horses, then married my current husband of 20 yrs and moved to Maple Valley, then Puyallup. We have snowbirded to FL for about 19 yrs and moved our northern home to Lakeside MT and love it here. I spent about 16 yrs at Boeing in WA in graphic illustration and system administration. Update: This rolling stone keeps on rolling! Sadly in 2012 my husband Bill passed away after a long horrible illness. I miss him so much and am learning to live life by myself. I sold our "too big" home and moved to a smaller new home in Whitefish MT, still in the general area as before. I love it here, easy maintenance. Close to Glacier Nat'l Park and much beauty and great golf courses and photography opportunities. In fact I'm going on a photography safari to Costa Rica's Osa Penninsula early next year.
Sorry to miss getting together his summer 2015 at our old stomping grounds of Owens Beach. Oh I do remember our days on the beach trying to attract the guys patrolling by in their cars and there were the ones with hot cars who parked on the hill to wax and show off. Fun times.
