Linda's Story
Most people don't know that my younger brother & I were adopted when I was allmost 2. I got married the 1st time the day before High School Graduation. That was a big mistake. We were divorced 1 1/2 years later. I have one son Chris who was born in 1983 9 days after I turned 21. I've been married 14 years to John. He is 17 years older than me. He came with 3 kids (2 boys & 1 girl) & 2 grandsons. My oldest step child is 4 years younger than I am. My oldest grandchild is a sophmore in college. I have 5 grand-sons & 5 grand-daughters. 1, Mykayla 9, Abbey 5, Jennifer 4, Zachary 3, Nevaeh almost 3 & now Graciee Lynn (named with my moms middle name & mine shortened). The only 2 that is mine is Nevaeh & Graciee but they are all truly mine. I am grandma to all but Nevaeh & to her I am MiMi. Go figure. If you ask her who I am she says "Mine". I've lost my brother in a car wreck, my sister-in-law to suicide & my dad to cancer. So, the only ones left are my mom & me. She remarried to a really great guy. Because of Classmates I have been contacted by my cousin Archie from Washington. Classmates is a wonderful site. I love it.
