Linda's Story
Right after high school, I attended Bethany Bible College in Santa Cruz, Ca. majoring in music. I married Stan Wiesenborn in 1968, we had 4 children - three girls & one boy. All of them are married with children of their own. We moved to Oregon in 1971 living in Klamath Falls and then Brookings. I was director of music and the choir in several churches, retiring from that in 2001. I became a widow in 1993 when my husband, Stan, died while we were scuba diving off the Oregon coast. ed Dan Phelps, a teacher in Brookings and father of three children. We moved to Bend, Oregon in 2001 after Dan's retirement, and are now enjoying a busy, fun life. We travel, kayak, play golf, cross-country ski, entertain family and friends and enjoy all of our children, their spouses, and our 16 grandchildren.
My favorite memories in high school are of my time with the "Grace Notes" and concert choir. Mr. Wing was an inspiration to me!
As of July 2008, I am healthy, happy, and very blessed!!
