Linda's Story
Left Edmonds in 1972 and went to Anchorage, AK. Married Ken, a 1965 grad of Edmonds that fall. Had one child in 1974 and returned to the northwest. I have owned 12 homes and in the 70's and 80's made a fortune turning them. then I began to focus on my career. I began a Electro-mechanical Design engineer and last was situated on the Distribution side of the Electronnic Manufacturing business. Made close to 200k my last year and had been making 6 figures for 8 years or so when a BIMBO ON I5 was on her cell phone and did not see TRAFFIC stopped.....dah.....
She hit me at like 70 miles a hour. 5 car pile up. e head rest. I had such a whiplash that it tore the left vertiberal artery and it to date 10 years later has not healed. I will be disabled the remainder of my life, however it has been more opportunity than sorror. I have a wonderful grand daughter whom I see daily and enjoy so much. My only child, Ken, has Muscular Dystrophy and needs both my husband and I to care for him. He's 38 now which is a miracle in its self. We have finally settled in Shelton for about 6 years now, however I am antsy and ready to move on again. I have lived in Anchorage, Seattle, Kent, Puyallup, and Shelton, this time I am wanting to head to Sedona, AZ. Fell in love on a trip and just cant do the gray month after month her anymore.
