Linda's Story

Life I have recently changed jobs, working for a company that owns 22 small-to-medium market TV stations across the US. It is a wonderful job and I love it! I remarried four years ago to a terrific man whom I met while line dancing and we have since started square dancing as well and thoroughly enjoy it. We also enjoy biking, and own a tandem bike and hope to someday travel to Ireland with our bike. I have recently become a grandmother (are we really that old?!) to Griffin Davis Reifsteck. He was born May 6, 2002, and weighed in at a hefty 9 lbs., 6 oz. My daughter never thought she would have a c...Expand for more
hild that big. She is enjoying being a mom and spending time with her son before she goes back to work. My son-in-law is a doctor in training, so she is the major breadwinner of the family. My two sons are still in the area, one in Chicago and the other in Bloomington/Normal, finishing school. I enjoy spending time with them, though both of them are very busy. I raised them right, though....both are ardent Cubs fans! I recently moved to Hanover Park, so I haven't strayed too far from Wheeling. I can't believe it is going to be 30 years next year. Did you really think it would happen this quickly!
