Linda's Story
Life
I raised a wonderful daughter and have two wonderful grandchildren. I'm married to my soul mate, I finally got it right on the 2nd try. We live in Florida, where I decided I wanted to be 30 years ago. I had a great career and as wonderful as it was, I'm now working at what I decided years ago would be my retirement job. I can't really complain, other than I miss my family and friends who still live in Maryland, We only get to see them once to twice a year) but moving to Florida was my decision and as we all learned by now everything has its advantages and disadvantages. and, In high school, retirement was the furthest thing from our minds and now from reading all the stories, it seems to be right up there in the top ten. Back then who could imagine being here, we are now the grandparents (if we are lucky).Circle of life, I guess well now is the time to enjoy our "golden years." I know I certainly plan to. Looking forward to reading others stories when they are updated Well that's it for now!! November 6, 2015 update: Now I have retired from Disney and enjoying retirement. Recently I took a cruise and it was wonderful. Living in Florida is nice, no cold or snow, that's my idea of easy living. I still miss family up north but that is the only drawback.
