Linda's Story
In High School I was active in the Band all four years. I was in charge of the uniforms. I played clarinet and bass clarinet.
I was active in the Future Teachers of America all four years..
I was in the International Foreign Relations Group only one year.
I was in volley ball for one year.
I love smiling and visiting with friends.
My husband Marvin A. Vickoren went to Eagle Point but graduated from Medford High School in the class of 1961. We met the first day of Western Civilization Class at Southern Oregon College and stopped in the middle of our Sophomore year to get married on December 22, 1962.
We had four beautiful children (Sandra) now Xandria (50), John (47), Erin (42 almost) and David (39). They all live in and around Grants Pass, Oregon. They are either engaged or married.
We have three Grandson from (30 almost) to 13. We have four Granddaughters from 20 to 6 years old.

ars old.
Marvin retired from the Post Office Rural Carrier for Grants Pass. We thought we would travel but ... have not ... we have a travel trailer that has traveled from the RV place to our yard. I just hope it can hang together when we do take off.
In 2013 our two daughters and I took a cruise to the Bahama's. The first three days were terrific enjoyed every minute of them the next two days are not so good. I got sick and had to get off at Nassau and our oldest daughter stayed with me. The youngest was still on the ship. Let me tell you we have stories to tell about the last two days for all of us. But we were on the same airplane for the trip home and did have some good times.
Our home is paid for (at last) so we aren't moving out any time soon.
We have had three of our children fall on bad times and came home through the revolving door. They have all moved into places of their own and don't expect any one coming back.
