North Texas has remained my home. After graduating from NTSU in Denton, I moved to Dallas as an art teacher in DISD. I thought I would always be a teacher, but life happens while you are making other plans. After 5 years of teaching, I became a flight attendant and flight attendant instructor for Braniff and enjoyed 10 years until their demise. I traveled to places I would never have seen on my own, had wonderful experiences and a group of friends that were like family. Life after Braniff was an entry into the world of oil and gas as a purchasing agent. When JCPenney was moving to Dallas, I leapt at the chance to be an assistant buyer in the Home Division - always have had a passion for home decor. Retired from JCP and am now back to work - this time for a non-profit foundation that supports Baylor College of Dentistry. Isn't life interesting!
