Linda's Story
Life
After SHS I went to England for the school year (Capernwray), then traveled around Europe for a month. The next school year I went to WWU- graduated with an Ed degree, and got a job in Bellingham. Married John Young, who graduated from Ferndale H.S. in '74. I taught 4th & 2nd grade, and went 1/2 time in '87.Now teach Kindergarten at Geneva. Have 2 kids- s...Expand for more

Workplace
I teach Kindergarten half time- full days, every other day, which gives me time to relax after a hard day. Every day something funny happens. I could write a book if I had the time! Kindergarten has changed a lot in the past 10 years. The kids learn to read, write, spell, and do simple math in my class, so it is a very big job!
