Life
My Spouse
My first spouse I met in a restaurant--I was his waitress.
My present spouse I met at church--he asked me to hold a door for him.
My Pets
We have two cats--Copernicus and Cosmos. We rescued them as kittens from the animal shelter. Copernicus is a tabby and Cosmos is a long-haired gray.
My Kids
I have two birth children--both daughters--one is an actress, the other is a minister. I also have 3 (ex)step-daughters who still consider me their mother--one is an educator in a zoo, one an art therapist, and one a hair stylist. ...Expand for more
I also have 2 (current)step children--a daughter who is an adjunct instructor at Purdue University and a son who is in finance.
My Job
I am a Career Services Consultant at Purdue University. I do personal and career counseling; I am a guest lecturer on a variety of topics including personality (MBTI), hug therapy, communication, leadership, group effectiveness, college success, human sexuality, career exploration.
I enjoy my job because of the wide variety of duties, minimal supervision, maximum autonomy, and opportunities for creativity.
