It's a little hard for me to describe who I am. I have found over the years, who I am and who other see me as are COMPLETELY different. I moved to Johnstown when my father became a police office for the town in 1975. I found that it was hard to move to a town where many were related families and many, many attended the Catholic church in town. My father's family is Catholic, and my mother's father grew up also in the Catholic Church as an alter boy. In his teenage years, he became a Pentecostal Minister. Needless to say, it was hard to adjust to in the beginning to this move. I had no older siblings or family to feel protection. I knew that I didn't want my little sister to feel the emotional fear that I did. I was very protective of her. Despite all of the changes and family disruptions, I was greatful that I had my parents who seem to always find time to talk at the dinner table, go to church to give us a foundation, and knew the family unit that is so important.
