Lindy's Story

It's a little hard for me to describe who I am. I have found over the years, who I am and who other see me as are COMPLETELY different. I moved to Johnstown when my father became a police office for the town in 1975. I found that it was hard to move to a town where many were related families and many, many attended the Catholic church in town. My father's family is Catholic, and my mother's father grew up also in the Catholic Church as an alter boy. In his teenage years, he became a Pentecostal Minister. Needless to say, it was hard to adjust to in the beginning to this move. I had no older siblings or family to feel protection. I knew that I didn't want my little sister to feel the emotional fear that I did. I was very protective of her. Despite all of the changes and family disruptions, I was greatful that I had my parents who seem to always find time to talk at the dinner table, go to church to give us a foundation, and knew the family unit that is so important. I know that there were times I may not have been very nice to some, and yet my heart would feel for those who were treated mean. My first job was with at the Best Western ...Expand for more
Hotel-Johnsons Corner. Debbie Gutierrez(Holguin) cleaned rooms and did laundry..... I may not have been popular, or someone that stood out in a crowd. There has been so much that has happened over the years to mold me into the person I am today. I'm out-spoken and have a caring heart. I believe that I am spiritual and NOT Religious. God is very important in my life. I don't care how others tell me how I should live. That's between me and the Guy upstairs..... period! I have 2 boys, Eric who is turning 24 in November and Victor who is 21. Victor has a step-daughter(my grand-daughter) 4 yrs Suriah and my grandson who just turned a year old in July. In February of 2008, a friend of mine needed someone to teach her basic computer applications. There was the birth of a new business. I teach basic computer application along with other teachers all over the State of Colorado. We focus on TBI (Trauma Brain Injury), Vocational Rehab Clients, as well as Seniors and private pay. I'm new at building websites. Your welcome to stop by our website to learn more. It is themastershands dot net. Thanks for taking the time to read my little story.
