Lisa's Story
Hi, Lisa Allman Hornbeck here. I graduated in 1974 as a nonattending senior with my class. I worked at Sears Distribution Center my senior year and met what would soon become my husband Andy Hornbeck from Plain City, OH through friends I made there. We have been married 35 years on 9/27/10. After I became married I went to CTI to study Medical Assisting/Office Procedures. I worked as a medical assistant for years and then once I FINALLY was able to have my two sons I started doing medical transcription at home to raise my family, I continue with that to this day off and on. I took care of my Mom until she passed away in my home for five years in 2000 and working at home was imperative. We now live in the Tampa Bay area of Flor...Expand for more
ida and my husband Andy works for the Hurricane Hunters as an Aircraft Structural Engineer and my son Griffin 20 is in between jobs and going to school. My son Lucas 24 lives in Ybor City section of Tampa and is Assistant manager of the Fresh Restuarant in downtown Tampa and plays and records his and other music as an audio technician. Life is good, although funds are tight as with most everyone else. Hopefully things will turn around before we all have to face retirement! No grandbabies yet, but that too shall come. I try to take care of myself because I definitely want to be a good grandmother some day. If you knew me in high school or even remember me I would love to hear from you, its good to keep in touch.
