Lisa's Story
Cliche' as it sounds, Duncanville seems like a million miles away. It's not quite that far away, but I do live about a 1,000 miles away. For over ten years I've lived outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. My husband pastors a church here. If someone had told me when I was in school that I would be doing this, I would have laughed myself silly. a sense of humor, so here I am.
I love it. I love helping people, and that's what we spend a lot of time doing. The good news is that I don't for a second think I'm doing them a favor. They bless me. Plus, I love the unpredictability of people.
Other than that, I had two different careers before I got here, and I have four great kids (two grown, one almost grown, and one not even close to grown).
When I think of something more interesting to say, I'll write more.
