Lisa's Story
Life
After highschool I attended Marygrove College for one year where I earned a 3.9 GPA. I decided to take a year off and unfortunately didn't go back for awhile. I finally went back to pursue a degree in Nursing at Schoolcraft College I think in 1998. I only attended one year but I still earned a 4.0 (yeah me!). Hard to believe considering I graduated Churchill with a 2.5 (too busy partying). Unfortunately I never did get that degree. Too many babies at that point!
In 1996 I married a farm boy from Memphis, MI. He attended Harding College in Arkansas where he graduated with a degree in biology in 1988. He never did pursue biology though. Instead he pursued computers - self taught. He's now the Director of Software Development for a company in Auburn Hills.

4. Three boys and one girl. I am a homemaker but would love to work outside of our home again someday. Unfortunately going back to work may not be an option for me.
In 2004 after spending two months out at the University of Michigan Hospital I was diagnosed with Lupus and CNS Vasculitis. I have no memory of being in the hospital at all and I've lost most of my memory from the 3-4yrs prior. I still have problems with my memory which is why I'm not sure if I could hold a job now. Not to mention the pain and exhaustion that goes along with Lupus.
I live in Westland now in the Livonia Public School District. My two oldest boys attend Webster Elementary and my daughter attends Hayes Elementary. My youngest is in preschool and will be starting kindergarten next year (woo-hoo!).
