Lisa's Story

Life After 3 years at a very-liberal arts university (Antioch), I landed in SF. Loved it so much I stayed. Finished school at SFSU with a Master's in Social Work while continuing to work with emotionally disturbed kids. Reconnected with an old high school buddy- Shawn Parkhurst- in 1985 and we've been toge...Expand for more
ther ever since. We decided to get married just last year in preparation for a move to Louisville. He's teaching at the University of Louisville and I'm working as a Program Director at a facility serving adults with mental retardation. Adapting to the South has been difficult- I miss the left coast.
