Life I'm happily married to my second husband Ralph, who's a retired cop from Norfolk, VA. of 26 yrs. He gave up his career and retired so we could move back to CA. to be with my Dad who was dying and spent the last the last 19 months living with him before he passed away. Ralph started a second career as a Correctional Officer at Delano II in the mean time. We have two beautiful Lhasa Apso's we call our kid's and have no intentions of having our own kids. He prefers Cali. and I prefer VA. it's still a fight as to where we will retire to. VA gets 40" of rain a year and is so much fresher and cleaner and hurricane season is amazing. We lived 1.5 miles from the ocean front and went through a few hurricanes. Plus, you are close to Washington D.C. and so many other historical sites. They may talk slow on the east coast but the defiantely have a faster pace. But Bakersfield is growing and getting more diverse so who knows in another 15 yrs it may have more potential. But for now I'm going with the east coast and the 4 seasons. School I wasn't well suited for school and was expelled and sent to Vista where I was also expelled from.
