Life
I still live in Pocahontas County and currently work at the Pocahontas Center as their bookkeeper. I also work part-time at DQ as a shift manager. I am an active member at my church, Marlinton Presbyterian, where I am a Sunday school teacher and member of the choir. So this year, I decided that my life wasn't complicated enough, so I added college to it! Finally after 24 years, I get to go to college! Individualized study for the first year and then clinicals the second to get my degree for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

nderful man in my life. Rick McLaughlin and I became engaged on Christmas Eve 2008. No date set yet, just the year...2011.
My children, are practically all grown and flown the coop, so to speak! Josh, 24, Jeremiah, 21, and Joey 14. Josh and Kayala have one son, Jaryd, who will be 5 years old this winter. Boy does time fly! He is quite the character and I wouldn't trade him for anything! Being Grandma Lisa is GREAT! Jeremiah is out on his own in the Morgantown area and Joey is a student at MMS. He is in the band and plays the trombone. He participated in all county band this spring. He and Rick get along pretty well, which is good because he will still be at home when we do tie the knot.
For the most part, I have found that life is way to short to live unhappy. You should live your life to the fullest every single day, have fun and be happy! That is my advice for everyone! GOD BLESS!
