Lisa's Story
Life
I left for the army after graduation. I met my (now ex)husband at Walter Reed Army Hospital (not as patients, but as military members) where he was a military policeman and I an animal care specialist conducting research to find a vaccine for scrub typhus. versity of Massachusetts police officer, was a full-time licensed daycare provider, bought a house in Massachusetts, and divorced (finally) in Nov. 2000. I completed my B.A. in Education Studies with a minor in psychology from the University of Massachusetts in 1996. I completed my M.Ed. in psychology/mental health counseling from Springfield College in 1998 and am now a therapist. I currently reside in Amherst, Massachusetts where I have been for the past 13 years.
